Go to the &#8220;Motion properties&#8221; and change the following parameters: &#8220;Change only horizontal orientation&#8221;, Amplitude = 14, Frequency=5.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.desktoppaints.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/motion.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-451\" title=\"motion\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.desktoppaints.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/motion.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"238\" height=\"280\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. On &#8220;Boundaries properties&#8221; click one of the\u00a0 &#8220;Options&#8230;&#8221; buttons. It will open the &#8220;Interaction Options&#8221; dialog. Activate the first tab (Top Edge) and change the &#8220;Interaction behavior&#8221; to &#8220;Reflect&#8221;. Repeat for this for the Bottom Edge too.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.desktoppaints.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/top.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-455\" title=\"top\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.desktoppaints.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/top-300x220.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"220\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.desktoppaints.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/top-300x220.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.desktoppaints.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/top.png 538w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3. Activate third tab (Left Edge) and set the &#8220;Interaction behavior&#8221; to &#8220;Pass and reflect&#8221; and &#8220;Delay&#8221; from 1000 ms to 1000 ms. You can play\u00a0 with these parameters to tune the motion speed and frequency.<\/p>\n<p>Setting the &#8220;Interaction behavior&#8221; for top and bottom edge to Reflect restricts Flipper in the live scene in up and down directions.<\/p>\n<p>Setting parameters for Left and Right Edge, we tell Flipper to return into the scene from the same side it left it. Flipper does it with some delay defined in the same tab (1000 ms = 1 second).<\/p>\n<p>And finally, the &#8220;Change only horizontal orientation&#8221; option makes Flipper turn when it crosses the edges.<\/p>\n<p>Tip: If you import your own fish and it swims back to front, check the &#8220;flip horizontal&#8221; option on the motion properties tab to reverse the picture.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new bound controls implemented in Desktoppaint&#8217;s animation editors this month significantly expand the possible implementations of the &#8220;import image&#8221; option.
