With this new update, we continue to improve our standard animation library by introducing a new bird flock animation. As usual, the new animation comes with a wider range of options, making it easier to adapt to different scenes. Here’s a video showing the new bird animation in action:
Here’s the full list of recent changes in this update:
- A new Flying Flock animation has been added to the Standard Animation library.
- The Flight animation has been renamed to Circling Flock.
- A Background Color option has been added to the No Background effect.
- Fixed incorrect behavior when saving PNG files to a non-existing folder.
- Fixed a bug with the Orientation option for imported images in Path Motion Templates.
On the typewriter text we have letter word and page for transition, could we have “line” added to that please, superb tool
Thank you for your suggestion. I think we can add this soon.
It would be great if you could update the image so that the watery areas appear as raindrops. We can move the water, but it doesn’t create raindrops as if it were actually raining.
Thank you for your feedback. Do you mean “Rain drops on glass” animations?
No. Let’s say you’re in a forest. There are houses, it’s raining, and there are puddles on the ground, but I can’t make the rain fall into those puddles.
Do you mean you want to add some rings or splashes on the puddle’s surface, or do you want the rain to fall into a specific area (like a small waterfall or an opening/shower)?
Any chance you can add boundaries properties to the rain animation? like you have the snow?
Thank you for your suggestion. We will check whether we can add this feature in the next update.
just so you know adding the shadow option to an animated gif crashes the exported executable so it refuses to run.
thanx you for considering my previous comment.
Thank you for the report. We’ll fix it in next month’s update.
Thanks! Is there any reason why some exported mov’s don’t loop properly? Like caustic brush? it jumps when exported as a PNG alpha, it doesn’t loop seamless?
You should use the Loop transition option in the export dialog to make the export seamless.
Thanx again, another strange issue i have come across which is difficult to explain, i have had it happen a couple of times during long presentations, when you have multiple timers and when you start to get into the longer ones like maybe 40+ seconds weird stuff starts to happen, you can nolonger drag the timer placements, they kinda get stuck, you can delete em and sometimes place new ones but they cant be moved or will only move slightly wile at the high end of the timer. When this happens it also seems to often effect the main loop making things cut out early before it goes back to the start.
