New Versions of Animation Editors – November Release

We are excited to announce that this month’s update introduces new animated text effects, inspired by suggestions from our community! Check out the video below to see these effects in action.

Your feedback is incredibly important to us, and we are always open to new ideas for animations. Please don’t hesitate to share your thoughts in the comments!

Additionally, here are the rest of the recent changes included in this update:

  • Four new animated types have been added: Bubble, Fire, Smoke, and Wet.
  • A new Text origin feature has been added to the Animation Constructor.
  • A bug related to exporting the Lightning animation has been fixed.
  • A bug with brushes above the particles with shadows has been fixed.
  • A bug with brushes above the particles with glow has been fixed.
  • A memory leak has been resolved.

  1. I specify a folder that does not exist and save PNG(seq) there.
    The program saves files, but where? Since the program does not create the folder itself, then where does the saving process occur.))

  2. This is when the sequence png is loading.
    The program still closes for me (240 images, 853×1280, 114mb)
    The program only loads – 160 images (76 mb)

    • The program unpacks images to video textures, which may have a much larger size. We will try to optimize memory usage in version 4.

  3. Is it possible to add frame skipping for Wave brush?
    I do it manually, save images 1,2,3,4,5,6,7… then delete frames between images (delete 2,3,4 – 6,7,8,9-11,12…).
    For example, it looks very nice with long hair.
    Perhaps this can be applied to other effects and brushes when you want exactly this, and not smooth animation.

        • Export > PNG sequence > ‘Sample Duration’ parameter. If you increase this parameter, it will increase the delay between frames.

          • You misunderstood me.
            I mean skipping frames, not a delay between them.
            Skipping between 0-5-10-15-20-25 frames, that is, so that from frame 0 it goes straight to 5/10/15/20/25.
            That’s when you get the frame-by-frame animation effect.
            I do it manually, but perhaps you can set up such an option for the brush, in automatic mode in the program.

          • By increasing the frame delay by 5, you shift the next frame to the 5th position on the timeline. Changing the frame delay is the same as skipping or adding frames in your animation.

  4. Add Saving and Loading Projects in XML Format:The ability to save and load projects in XML format would allow users to easily save and retrieve their projects. This feature is particularly useful for users with complex projects.
    Provide Engaging Examples for All Features with Their Sources:
    For each of the new features, such as the new text animations (Bubble, Fire, Smoke, Wet), engaging and practical examples with their sources and practical use cases to help users understand the best ways to utilize these features.
    Allow Setting Start Point, End Point, and Motion Path for These Animations:To increase user control over text animations, the ability to set the start point, end point, and motion path for animations should be provided. This feature will allow users to design their animations more precisely and engagingly.
    Dynamic Animations:
    Animations that are dynamic and changing can be more engaging. For example, typing text that is burning or erasing text that is filling with water.

      • No, right now it is impossible if you do not want to draw the text manually. However, we are working on extending the text functions.

        • XML does not support binary data, which means that images and masks cannot be saved in this format. Could you please provide an example from one of your recent projects where you utilized these features with XML?

    – Adjusting the entire scene brightness, contrast, adding blur, luts, so it blends better.
    – Better animated objects, higher quality, steams, candle flames, all kind that we can use in ambience, i know we have smoke and clouds but is not quite the same. better fire.
    – For rain and snow I want to be only on certain areas like on a window, right now is only square, would be nice at least to let us distort the area or free hand the are where want to appear or mask, like i select the window and only there to be rain or snow or fire.
    – ability to distort the image or warp it.

    When i drag the bruh size or slider, is jump sometimes directly to 1 or 100 is hard to adjust slowly by drawing. Also can you add brush size adjustments like in photoshop with brackets shortcuts [ ]

      You can do this with the Background Copy and Erase Layer brushes.

  6. Is it possible to do the following.
    Apply the brush to the group and all layers in the group when the brush layer is above the group, as well as when it is in the group.
    The brush should not affect layers that are not in the group.

    • Yes, the color option is available for the smoke animation only. If you need more options, you can use the Animation Constructor. The new types were created with it.”

  9. I am having problems accessing the website, antivirus says is not safe, https crossed in red with bitdefender. Also beside the contact page is there any other way to contact you? Like a page, a forum, discord, or something?
